In the world of theme weddings, this one takes the cake … or, the chicken.
An Australian couple have become the first people in the world to have an official KFC-themed wedding. Kate and Harrison Cann were the first of six couples Down Under that won a wedding from the chicken chain, which covered everything except the venue, transportation and alcohol.
There were personalized KFC buckets with Kate and Harrison’s name on them, a photo booth, a Colonel-style singer and a KFC food truck for the guests, who had no idea they were attending a wedding when they showed up.
The couple had their very first date at a KFC in 2017.
